  29. I dare say a fair number of ways, if for no other reason than it would be
  30. made with more modern philosophy and design. Specifically, better parallel
  31. processing support might be added than is currently in NT. I am no expert
  32. on NT - it was simply closest to what I was imagining, and well known
  33. enough that people would know what i was talking about.

  37. Amiga people generally do not like microsoft, and specifically do not like
  38. windows. I think this is due to the stupid lengths old billy goes to to
  39. promote it, along with some of the claims he makes. And no, I am not
  40. interested in compiling a list for you. If you want one, ask for it in the
  41. amiga newsgrpups - or any other, non-microsoft dominated ones. Microsoft
  42. made an abysmal mess of amigabasic, and this also did not inspire good
  43. feelings.

  45. I myself dislike microsoft and their reported bussiness tactics, gate's
  46. reported games, etc. Niether do I like the stranglehold microsoft maintains
  47. over the hardware and software industry. I am sure you have heard the
  48. complaints before.

  50. I have not noted any amiga person complain or bitch about misspellings of
  51. amiga, amigados, etc. Everything else, possibly. Maybe even continously.

  60. As i understand it, only the core (e.g. most used portions) are in assembly
  61. for speed. Most of the os (I'd guess 75% or more) is in C.

  68. It'd be nice, and maybe even useful. Unfortunatly, you will still be left
  69. with the PC's legacy design deficiencies, and a great cost.

  73. It is far easier to have the PC inside the amiga, than the other way around
  74. (you can have a Mac in there too then).
